Why I'm Running

The HOA Board faces a time of transition. It is imperative that the HOA has fresh voices dedicated to ensuring a vibrant, collaborative, and welcoming community for all homeowners.
1. The HOA must operate openly and transparently.
2. There must be financial accountability to ensure costs are contained.
3. There must be responsive management that delivers services timely and comprehensively. There must be expanded relationships with the broader EOH community, the Village, Town, County, and State.
4. And there must be a responsible transition from Toll. I am devoted to achieving all of these goals.

My Bio
Since summer 2022, my wife and I have lived in the Edge on Hudson community. We moved here after living in Briarcliff Manor since 1989, where we raised our three children, and we continue to devote ourselves to this area and the river towns.
We purposefully chose this community as the place for our retirement years. Come this September 30, after 45 years practicing law, I will retire from my law firm.
My law practice focused on competition law issues in the U.S. and throughout the world. It allowed me to work with the most senior leaders of large and small corporations, government officials, and academic commentators. I have gained experience regarding all aspects of business strategies, financial analysis, and government relationships.
My former position as a global advisory board member of a Mumbai-based logistics company enhanced my experiences in these regards.
Adding to my experience, I actively participate in community and not-for-profit organizations. Currently, I am Chair of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem (www.jmih.org). I also serve on the Board of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, I served for close to 10 years on the Board of our synagogue, Congregation Sons of Israel, in Briarcliff. I believe I can serve this community well and offer perspectives based on my legal and business experiences that will make our community harmonious, collaborative, and transparent. This will strengthen our position in relation to our neighbors and larger community.
